FitApp ("we", "our", "us") is operated by M4E. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, mobile applications, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, profile picture, and authentication credentials (including Google Sign-In data).
• Fitness Data: Workout logs, exercise records, sets and reps, biometric measurements (weight, height, body fat, chest, waist), and milestone achievements.
• Subscription & Payment Data: Subscription plan details, billing history, and payment transaction records processed through Razorpay. We do not store credit card or banking details directly.
• Gym & Trainer Affiliation: Gym membership status, assigned workout plans, trainer-client relationships, and leave records.
• Device & Usage Data: Device type, operating system version, app usage analytics, and push notification tokens.
• Ad Interaction Data: When using the Free Plan, third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob) may collect advertising identifiers, ad impression data, and interaction data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

• Provide workout tracking features, calculate milestone streaks, and issue achievement certificates.
• Manage gym memberships, trainer assignments, and subscription billing.
• Process subscription payments and maintain financial transaction records.
• Send push notifications for workout reminders, subscription renewal alerts, gym approvals, and in-app messages.
• Display personalized fitness recommendations and gym/trainer discovery results.
• Improve platform performance, fix bugs, and develop new features.
• Display third-party advertisements to Free Plan users.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect data:

• Google AdMob: Serves advertisements to Free Plan users. AdMob may collect device identifiers, ad interaction data, and approximate location. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Razorpay: Processes subscription payments. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
• Google Sign-In: Used for authentication. Only your email, name, and Google ID are shared with us.
• Expo / Push Notifications: Used to deliver push notifications. Device push tokens are stored to enable notification delivery.

4. Public Profile Visibility Controls

FitApp respects user privacy. Member profiles are private by default unless you explicitly opt in to public showcase visibility. You may update or hide your public profile at any time in your profile settings. Gym and trainer profiles may be displayed in the public directory for discovery purposes.

5. Push Notifications

FitApp uses push notifications to send workout reminders, subscription renewal alerts (sent at least 3 days before expiry), gym join request updates, and system messages. You may disable push notifications through your device settings at any time. Disabling notifications may cause you to miss important subscription renewal and workout reminders.

6. Account Deletion & Data Retention

You have the right to delete your FitApp account at any time from the Profile section of the mobile app. Upon account deletion:

• Your account is deactivated immediately and you are logged out of all sessions.
• Your personal profile data, workout logs, biometric records, milestone certificates, and notification history are permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days.
• Financial transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax and financial compliance laws.
• De-anonymized analytics data may be retained for platform improvement purposes.
• Push notification tokens are deleted immediately upon account deletion.

7. Data Protection & Security

We implement industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, role-based access controls, and database security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

8. Children's Privacy

FitApp is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of FitApp after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
